10.000 euro uitgereikt voor beste energiebesparende tip
Chris Bruijnes overhandigde € 10.000 aan het echtpaar Bouwman uit Sliedrecht, om hun huis energiezuiniger te maken. De heer Bouwman won de prijsvraag op energielastenverlager.nl voor de beste energiebesparende tip. Daarmee is Bouwman de eerste huiseigenaar die gaat ‘Meer Met Minderen’: minstens 30 procent energie besparen door in huis besparende maatregelen te nemen. Mevrouw Bouwman zei desgevraagd niet op te zien tegen de verbouwing, omdat het huis er uiteindelijk beter van zou worden. Bouwmans winnende tip is: ‘Zet de watertemperatuur van de HR-ketel op maximaal zeventig graden. De HR-ketel condenseert dan beter dan bij een hogere temperatuur en stookt zuiniger. Door goede woningisolatie is doorstoken tot negentig graden meestal niet nodig.’
