Dust Control

Dust control is the process of removing small particles of dust from the ground or air, and also to prevent the dust from forming and being transported in the first place. There are many types of dust control methods these include:

• Preventing soil erosion and weathering - preventing dust from forming in the first place. Methods include use of ground cover, windbreaks.
• Use of a chemical crusting agent to bind the dirt at source (usually on agricultural land) to prevent soil erosion.
• Watering - keeping land or dusty area wet will prevent the dust from blowing in the wind.
• Dust control stabilizers and dust control agents
• Dust control caking agents.

What is dust?
