B.L.S First Aid Training offers quality First Aid Training delivered by Healthcare Professionals with many years experience within the pre-hospital setting. All our instructors have done it for real and have the ability to teach you first aid so that by the end of the course, you will have the confidence to treat someone who is ill or injured.

We offer quality First Aid Training in a way that is convenient to you, the customer. Our HLTFA301B Apply First Aid (Senior First Aid) consists of an online pre-study system (which can also be completed by completing a hard copy workbook) comprising of 140 questions split in to sections. This takes an average of 1-2 hours and can be completed in your own time over a period of time. This means you can spend 15 minutes on it and come back to it later on. Once you have completed the pre-study system, you will be asked to print off the completion certificate and bring this with you to the six hour practical course.

The six hour face to face practical course comprises of Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), how to control bleeding & manage shock, how to manage fractures, the treatment of bites & stings and how to recognise and treat medical illness and other trauma. We firmly believe that learning takes place practically and we do this with scenario based training.

The CPR course can be done on its own with no online pre-course study and will take approximately 2 hours to complete.

After completing the course, you will be issued a Statement of Attainment which is nationally recognised. This can be issued to you on the day of the course or we can deliver it to you. 

We also deliver a Low Voltage Rescue course which is for those who wish to renew their electrical licence. This course is a three hour course and includes CPR training. This course should be taken every six months.
