Spot Cultivator

The Lightweight Rotree Spot Cultivator was first developed in 2004. The concept behind the machine was to design a spot cultivator that would improve the site preparation industry, such as forestry site preparation. We wanted not only to introduce a more efficient spot cultivator but one which created less soil disturbance making it more environmentally friendly.

About Us

Rotree Corporation has been developing Rotree Spot Cultivators in Tasmania since 1994. The original Rotree Spot Cultivator weighed 3.5 tonnes although virtually indestrucable these machines were mounted on carriers greater than 25 tonnes. This resulted in high capital and fuel cost making the Rotree a mid cost site preparation tool. This lead to the development of the first Light Weight Rotree Spot Cultivator in 2005 weighing just over 1000 kgs reducing manufacturing costs, improving productivity and increasing efficiency.
