Banners

There are many types of banners.  Banners are usually a piece of cloth, or manmade fabric which contains the logo or promotional text and images for an advertising campaign.
The advertising industry has moved forward from simple cut-vinyl banners to more advanced banners which can be printed directly onto a very large piece of vinyl material which itself becomes the banner, so no cutting required.
These signs banners are full colour and come complete with ropes and eyelets so that they can be easily mounted.  The inks are eco-friendly, resilient to sunshine and the elements and have a high quality satin finish.

Retractable Banners

Retractable Banners are also referred to as pop-up banners, these banner stands contain the vinyl banner which can be pulled out and connected to the anchor point. The banner stand can be erected in a matter of seconds and taken down just as easily.
A retractable banner is strong and durable.  Retractable banners are easy to transport by hand or in a car. They roll down into a very small container.
Retractable banners feature a cylindrical shell case which contains a roller. The retractable banner is wound around the spring loaded shaft and a counter wound steel spring. The banner has a small handle which you pull to extend the retractable banner from the cylinder. There is a small stand to clip the top of the banner into so that it can remain upright and extended.  At the end of the day you simply unclip the banner and gently let us retract. It can then be transported away from the exhibition stand and easily stored.

Advertising Banners

Banners are most commonly used for advertising purposes and are usually full colour and single sided.  Advertising banners usually start life by being designed on a computer. These digital banners are banners which have been created from a digital file and printed, usually onto vinyl.  Banners can also be large vinyl stickers which are adhesive on one side; usually these stickers are very sticky and can be hard to remove. Advertising banners are usually temporary in nature and do not usually function and any permanent part of a structure. The banners can be changed with your latest product releases and new promotions.
An advertising banner would usually feature your corporate logo, as well as sales, and promotional text. Often advertising banners are used to promote sales, and usually targeted towards end users. Banner advertising does not usually target corporate business to business customers although of course there are exceptions in all cases.
Advertising banners are a great medium for advertising since they are so flexible and make use of existing space such as the front window of your shop, hung from the ceiling or popping out of the floor! The latter type of banner is called a pop-up banner, retractable banner or pop-out banner.

Vinyl Banners

Most banners are made from a durable vinyl material. These vinyl banner signs are weather resistant and resistant to the sun’s rays.  Vinyl is a strong, smooth, glossy and non-porous material that will work just as well for outdoor banners as indoor exhibition banners.  Vinyl is used for many types of banner including but not limited to pop-up banners, exhibition banners, outdoor banners, and stand banners. Vinyl is the most popular material for making all types of banners in today’s advertising market. Modern ink jet printing processes allow the whole banner to be printed in one job, all colours being printed at the same time and there are no pieces to cut and glue making production of multiple identical prints very easy.
Vinyl  banners are fairly easy to fold and store and keep, they are not affected by mould or mildew and can be easily cleaned and stored.

Outdoor Banners

Outdoor banners are usually made from vinyl with high quality ink that will not fade in the sun light. Outdoor banners are usually attached by a rope cord to a peg, hook or other fixture on the wall.  As with all signs and banners, outdoor banners are a very effective way for advertising since they make use of existing space to advertise.
The outdoor banner is a great advertising medium because it makes good use of existing space. For example  banner signage on the outside of your building is free advertising space and usually costs little more than the actual printing cost of the digital vinyl banner itself.
In most cases outdoor banners can be easily attached to the building using the hook and eye method or by a rope connected to a pulley allowing it to be easily raised and lowered like a flag. Digital Banners and Prints also make flags and banners which can be hoisted and lowered as you see fit.

Stand Banners

Stand banners are used for many kinds of stands. Exhibition banners are large banners which can be easily removed and are not usually permanently fixed or stuck to the stand itself. Stand banners can be simple items that lay flat across the front of  a exhibition table stand or they can be part of more expensive and complicated walled exhibition banner units.

Exhibition Banners

Exhibition banners are often a standard vinyl banner which is attached with a rope across the top of the stand. More advanced banners for an exhibition might be a pull-up banner (pop-up banner), which may compliment the main banner across the front of the exhibition stand.  A popular arrangement of exhibition banners would be a table with the main vinyl banner across the top of the table and then with two pop up banners either side of the exhibition stand.

More sophisticated exhibition stands may have a whole walk in area which the exhibition banners are designed around to fit.
