A swimming pool in the backyard is not only a fun commodity; it also adds worth to a home. Pool Barriers

Pool barriers are necessary to prevent accidental drowning. Although more important during the summer, small children and pets can wander into the water and drown any time of the year whether a pool is in use, or not. They are unaware of the dangers and only see the inviting blue surface. That does not mean that a pool fence is a foolproof defense. Gate closures have to be self locking and latches placed at a height inaccessible to infants; the release mechanism should be located on the pool side of the gate. If the fence has climbable components make sure climbing them, or other nearby objects like chairs and tables, is no option.
